Project

FABRIKculture is a well-connected project space in Hégenheim, France, located near Basel and the national border, with over thirty artist studios in close proximity. It hosts four to five exhibitions per year, including solo exhibitions, and presents regional and experimental projects. All media are represented, from painting, photography, and installations to sound experiments, performances, and internet art. The exhibition space, which is over 1,000 m² in size, is located in a former textile factory, and allows for extraordinary projects. It also hosts an annual summer residency for international artists, and offers them opportunities for subsequent exhibitions on-site.
