Project

The project MUSEUM was initiated in 2021 by Kathrin Siegrist as a medium of her artistic practice. MUSEUM has no deadlines and no fixed program, it remains in constant motion, for example as a garden center. It forms spaces for possibilities and research, and refers to an accumulation of times, stories and interacts with a multitude of practicioners. In addition, with the museum as a medium, the MUSEUM project faces the need to engage socially, politically, and ecologically with the institution itself, its structures, and its responsibilities. Based on the recognition of multiple entanglements, MUSEUM is proposing an epiphytical, pluralistic and situational presence.
